Perfect techno-pop for those of us not into raves

"this cd introduces many PDP fans to a completely new sound- definately no jangly guitars and flutes, but wonderful soaring dance-able joyful erotic ?techno?. I NEVER thought I would enjoy this CD and now it has a permanent place in my CD holder - gets you up and moving on those cold dark winter mornings. Stunning vocals share space with interesting samples and nice hooks. Get it. You'll be happily surprised."

Astounding transformation

"I'll give up my bias immediately. I LOVE Poi Dog and have been an evangelist of theirs for some time. My favorite albums are Volo Volo and Pomegranate (have a signed copy from the Sept 14, 15, 16, & 17 1995 concerts at the Vic in Chicago where I was a cocktail waitress). Anyway enough about me. Platetectonic on Electrique Plummagram is one of the best song's I have ever heard. I had it played at my wedding and people who have never heard this band were going crazy over it. This album is part of Poi Dog's masterful evolution from folksy to funky (if I can even pigeonhole them that way - they are so much more). This is a fun, crazy, powerful album with some remakes from Pomegranate which take on a whole new life here. Take a chance and listen. You won't be sorry."
