That one extra track adds a LOT

"Zoom - Jeff Lynne's comeback under the ELO banner - was already an excellent album, though I remember originally feeling a bit of initial disappointment that it closed with "Lonesome Lullaby," not one of my favorite "Zoom" numbers. The Japanese edition rectifies this by adding the jammin' "Long Black Road," a hard rocker with some unique sounds that gives the album a punchier, more memorable climax. Despite the added expense of "only one extra song," I heartily recommend this edition. With the "Zoom" singles seemingly having vanished into limbo, I doubt seriously that we'll be seeing "Long Black Road" as a B-side anytime soon, so completists may want to invest in this version of the album. An additional lyrics booklet, mostly in Japanese, also includes the lyrics to "Long Black Road" in English."
Not actually ELO - a rip off!

"As an ELO fan I feel ripped off. This album is missing all the real ELO band members other than Jeff Lynne. It is a SOLO ALBUM like Jeff Lynne's previous SOLO ALBUM Armchair Theatre. Had it been released honestly as a Jeff Lynne solo album, I would have given it maybe 3 stars. Trying to pass this off as an ELO album is a pretty dirty trick on behalf of the record company. As a solo album, it is OK, but Armchair Theatre is a lot better, and it certainly pales in comparison to all of the original ELO albums."
Jeff Lynn is and has always been ELO

"How ridiculous to say that this isn't a real ELO album. Any record produced and written by Jeff Lynn is an ELO album! Granted, it's a bit overproduced but you expect that on his albums--rococo beatlesque soundscapes indeed. This is a great listen although the songs aren't really very different from one another, but they're all consistently fun and lovely."
